It's sounds like something that can be used for example a light aircraft'spropeller blades that is struggling to start or to swing as such,. . Or with a little bit of imagination, it can be used for a couple of other sounds as well. Depends on what it is you looking for or a project that requires this type of sound !. . Coin flic.

A marimba note being struck while thrown in to the air. Can't remember the mic that was used but it was a condensor mic. This was recorded in my room so unfortunately the signal to ambient noise ratio isn't great. The sound can be used for free (though it would be great to hear about what you do with it). It may not be re-distributed as it is, or as part of a compiled sound library.

Spinning a cordless, brushless drill (check empty, no load speeds) at various bursts of different length. Some in 1st gear and some in 2nd gear; in 2nd gear the electric brake is more pronounced. Mic changes position now and again to vary the sound character.

I was putting together a new under-bed storage crate and noticed the wheels made this awesome sound, almost like a laser gun or something. He wanted us to listen to the samples an tell if they were worse or not to the original samples. . So i just listened to a few samples and noticed something weird. . . On a few samples there is this very high pitch sound. . . Seems not everyone is able to hear this. . My girlfriend was listening with me and she didnt hear anything like this!!!to find out what was going on alienxxx suggested to run the samples thrue an eq to see what was going on. I used the following sample:. Http://www. Freesound. Org/people/alienxxx/sounds/234027/. I found out that there was a very high peak at 14,8khz around 14sec. And again at 20sec. After that i maxed out my eq at 14,8khz. Setting everything to maximize the peak that is so very very very annoying!!!. .

A buzzing be type of firecracker spinning a little for a second and then dies out.

I got hit by a spinning firecracker that decided to run into me while recording my other firecracker sounds. In the middle of the clip it sounds like someone stepping on old wood planks. Maybe someone will have some use for this sound.

I tried to mock the sound of spinning the chamber of a revolver for a game. Didn´t find anything that fit my needs so i tried to produce one on my own.
